Hello and welcome to my shop!
I am Rebecca (Becca) the maker and creator at Becca's Bound Books. I love to make books by hand using traditional methods.
I am a mum of three, live in Durham and am a self-confessed book addict of various types.
Each book is lovingly handcrafted by me, beginning with the paper for the pages. Some pages are meticulously hand-cut to size, while for certain case-bound books, I use pre-cut paper. After that, I proceed to create the cover before assembling everything together.
You'll discover a variety of books on my page, ranging from classic case-bound notebooks to artist-friendly Coptic sketchbooks that lay flat, as well as some delightful novelty-themed books in between.
I love up-cycling and giving a new creative life to unloved items. Some of my creations are more traditional makes, however, even with these where possible the pages of books are recycled paper, though I never compromise on function or quality!
