Who can sell on Mayfli?

Only sellers based in the United Kingdom can join Mayfli.

Who can buy from Mayfli?

Anyone, anywhere can buy from Mayfli.

What can I sell on Mayfli?

We welcome handmade, unique, and personalised items that offer great customer care. We don’t allow mass-produced or imported goods—we’re all about special, meaningful products made in the UK.

Can I sell digital downloads?

Yes! We support digital download sellers.

Can I sell personalised and custom-made items?

Absolutely. Mayfli is built with tools that make selling personalised items easy and smooth for both sellers and buyers—no more chasing customers for details.

How much does it cost to sell on Mayfli?

We offer four pricing packages to suit different needs. You can see the full breakdown [here – link to pricing table].

Can I change my package later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your monthly package anytime. If you choose an annual package, you get 2 months free, but you’ll need to commit for the full year.

Do I have to commit to a contract?

No long-term commitment is needed. You can close your shop at any time. Your shop will be disabled once your subscription is cancelled.

How do I get paid?

All payments are handled securely through Stripe and go directly to your bank account. You'll also receive a monthly invoice for any commission fees.

Do I need to match prices with other platforms?

Yes, we ask that you keep your pricing consistent across all platforms. Our low fees mean you may earn more per sale on Mayfli!

Can I import my products from Etsy?

Yes! You can easily import your Etsy listings using a CSV file. You may need to tweak titles, descriptions, and tags after uploading. We have helpful videos to guide you through the process and optimise your listings for SEO.

Can I list items with variations (e.g., size, colour)?

Yes! Mayfli supports multiple product variations. We offer powerful shop tools to manage these easily—check out our how-to video in your dashboard.

Can I view my shop’s stats?

Yes. Your seller dashboard includes insights like:

• Sales by category

• Customer locations

• Shipping costs

• Top customers, products, and categories

• Payment methods used

Is there an app for Mayfli?

An official Mayfli app is in development and due to launch soon.

Can I pause my shop while I’m away?

Yes. Use Vacation Mode to:

• Set start and end dates

• Choose if customers can still place orders

• Display a return date

• Add a custom message for customers

Is there a limit to how many products I can list?

Each pricing package includes a limit on how many products you can list. There’s no expiration date for listings.

Can I run more than one shop?

Yes, you can have multiple shops as long as each is approved and sells different types of products.

Do I need to comply with GDPR?

Yes, all sellers must include GDPR information in their Shop Policy.

What’s your copyright policy?

Sellers are responsible for making sure their products don’t infringe on copyright. If we’re notified about a potential issue, we’ll ask you to remove the item. Repeated violations may lead to suspension or closure of your shop.

Do I need to meet UK product regulations?

Yes. Sellers must comply with relevant UK laws, including:

• Toy Safety Regulations

• EU Cosmetics Regulation (1223/2009)

• Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations

• Hallmark Act 1973

• Nickel in Jewellery Regulations

• Food Imitation Safety Regulations
