The wool was spun on a drop spindle before being hand woven into this glorious clutch bag.  The rich texture of the wool, spun from the fleeces of sheep native to the windswept Shetland Islands, is a testament to traditional craftsmanship. The Shetland wool used is mix of both natural wool (as it came from the sheep) and dyed wool in delicate pinks, reds, purples, that have been blended together in the spinning process.  The bag measures 14cm wide by 12cm deep.  The fold over closure is 6cm and the length of the 13 beaded strands are approx 6 cm each.  

If necessary, handspun wool can be cared for by gently hand washing in cool water.  Do not rub or over squeeze, rinse and allow to dry flat
